ELSA Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2018/2019

All interested in the field of human rights are invited to apply for the 7th Human Rights Moot Court Competition organized by ELSA International in co-operation with the Council of Europe.

The Law Faculty of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens will select a team of 2-4 members, which will represent our University in the competition. We hope to follow in the very successful steps of previous teams, which on consecutive years won the second and then the 1st place and were also awarded the Best Written Submissions for the Applicant, a symbolic monetary prize as well as an internship at the European Court of Human Rights, while its orators were ranked 1st and 3rd in the total rankings. The selection meeting will take place on Monday, 1 October 2018 at 17:00hrs, Athens PIL, Academias 47, 3rd floor

The prize for the winner team of the competition: “the Council of Europe Prize” is a traineeship at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg for a period of one month.
